Thorough research is the first step in my design process. I take that research and build out mood boards that can be tailored for specific parts of the process. Anywhere from branding and logo design, to specific styles, to multiple themes, to colors and materials. I don't skimp out on this important step and it will show in the later phases of the project through solid designs and a more cohesive line that is exactly on brand.
